This is the about the desire and the need for being yourself.
Fashion trends are coming and going quickly, there is an immoderate adoration for labels and we get lost in a huge amount of products who are very much alike and who miss a part of their identity.
We find the same brands and the same trends all around the planet, from Paris to Tokyo but there is not much of an identity behind all this trade, of a concept, a soul.
Of course I love fashion, it is a part of my life, I am passionate, it is my job. I have my favorite brands which I am faithful to, I am choosing out of a new trend what really corresponds to my style, because when I really love something I love it for a long time. Buy few, but quality products, pure materials which will age with style, which will become a sort of a collector who passed the time without taking age and who mix up beautifully with the new pieces from recent collections.

This perfect sweater with a little bit too long sleeves, whose cuffs a little wide and who took just a bit the shape of the arm, this beautiful cashmere cardigan who warms me in the winter as in fresh summer nights, my jeans who has been used on my own body, my T-shirt with its perfect neck shape and its fabric which became so soft an supple from all the washing, my boots who walked a long way and my lucky charm necklace, all those things are giving its character to my outfit, they are mixing up to perfection with the new pieces which are sticking more to the actual fashion trends.

It is this small amount of favorite clothes we are all having in our wardrobe, which we really love and we would not do without. THOSE pieces which are with us on all our business trips but also on our holidays and weekends because they make us look beautiful and we are feeling well and self confident .
A good pair of jeans, two t-shirts and two nice cardigans to be accessorized according to the moment with boots, high heels, necklaces or shawls and that is, according to me, all we need in our suitcase for a weekend.

I am Marie-Luise, Parisian with German origin and fashion addict. I love also art and design and cooking and nice wine.
After my fashion classes in ESMOD Paris and one year spent in Japan I got specialized in knitwear, first as a designer and then very quickly as a buyer for Galeries Lafayette and for Agnès b, a French designer brand. The jobs of my dreams!
The frenetic rhythm of the collections thrilled me at first, was exciting but became tiring at the end. I realized that I wanted to create my own little world, edit my favorite clothes which would not change every season but also talk about people whose work I admire, places I love things who passionate me and which are important to me.
